Different Learning Styles

We Each Have a Different Learning Style

Some people prefer to read, some to listen, while others need to do in order to learn. Educators and researchers alike, have defined these ways of learning into 3 main areas - Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic. There are variations on these depending on the researchers, but these three give a good overview.

Visual Learners learn best by seeing, viewing or reading - they need to see the information to form their learning.

Auditory Learners learn best by hearing or listening - they need to hear the information to form their learning.

Kinesthetic Learners learn best by doing, touching or participating - they need to be physically involved in their learning.
